A classic twist on roasted sprouts. The vanilla and bourbon balance the sea salt for a sweet, salty flavor that even kids love. Don’t worry, the alcohol in the bourbon cooks off.
Makes 6-8 1 cup servings.
Gather:
2 lbs brussel sprouts
1/3 cup olive oil
2 T bourbon
1 1/2 T Vanilla
1/2 T sea salt
Now Do This
Preheat oven to 400
Quarter each brussel sprout and add to a baking sheet
Pour olive oil over the sprouts
Drizzle with bourbon and vanilla
Sprinkle with sea salt.
Hand toss until all ingredients are combined
Roast in oven for 15-18 minutes or until just starting to brown.
